EMI Lock for Mobile Retailers in Pakistan
Keep the down payment, remaining balance and financed phone together across every shop shift.
For a Pakistan mobile shop selling on installments, the daily problem is often a handover: one employee sells the phone, another receives the next qist, and a third answers the customer. RecTym can be evaluated as the device-management part of that process, alongside your agreed payment record.
A PKR sale worked through at the counter
Illustration only, not RecTym pricing or financing terms: a phone costs PKR 60,000, the customer pays PKR 15,000 upfront, and PKR 45,000 remains. If the agreement divides that balance into six equal installments without additional charges, each is PKR 7,500. Record the actual agreement, including any separately disclosed charges, rather than importing these example terms.

From the first shop visit to the last installment
1. Choose the phone and explain the arrangement
Agree on the handset, price, down payment and installment schedule. Explain enrollment, customer support and the proposed device-management terms before handover.
2. Link the customer, phone and plan
Record the received down payment and outstanding amount. Give each agreement a stable reference and verify the device identifier; one customer may finance several phones.
3. Enroll and confirm handover
Complete the supported Android enrollment process with the customer. Check that the agreed record and device match before the phone leaves the shop.
4. Follow due dates and trace receipts
Use the agreed reminder process. Confirm cash or digital receipts and investigate unidentified, partial or disputed payments before calling an account overdue.
5. Update the account, then review the device
Allocate the receipt, update the authoritative account status and separately obtain authorization for any permitted device action. Confirm the action result.
6. Complete and release
After the final installment is reconciled, resolve outstanding adjustments, record completion and confirm authorized final device release.
Make the next shift able to answer the customer
A useful handover records who received money, the receipt reference, the account credited and any unresolved question. “Paid” written beside a name is ambiguous when a family finances more than one phone. Keep a separate record for each agreement and identify the person who can approve a correction.
A daily installment desk routine
1. Open the due list
Separate amounts due today from unresolved payments received earlier. Avoid sending a late-payment message while an allocation query is still open.
2. Check the receiving evidence
Use the cash receipt or receiving account record. A customer may pay through a bank or wallet; the channel does not establish a RecTym integration.
3. Match and communicate
Allocate the amount, issue the appropriate acknowledgement and tell the customer what remains due.
4. Escalate exceptions
Assign partial payments, duplicate references and wrong-account allocations to a named staff member before any device decision.
Handle multiple phones without mixing balances
If one household has two installment phones and sends PKR 10,000, ask which agreement the transfer covers. Do not automatically divide it equally. Preserve the receiving reference, agreed allocation and remaining amounts so another staff member can explain the calculation.
Review exceptions alongside collections
At closing, compare receipts with credited installments and unresolved balances. Then review device actions that were approved, actions still awaiting confirmation and completed accounts awaiting release. Ask in a RecTym demonstration which reports and permissions support your process; do not assume the software replaces your accounting records.
Finish the agreement as carefully as the sale
Confirm final settlement with the responsible account owner. Arrange final device release, verify its completion and provide the customer with a clear closure acknowledgement. Resolve any disputed balance before describing the account as settled.
Take a checklist to your next shift
Use the printable checklist to review account references, receipts, unresolved queries and release handovers. It is an operating aid, not a promise that every field is available in the product.
