Android EMI Lock: Enrollment & Deployment Checks
Android EMI lock applies a financing workflow to supported enrolled phones. Confirm the exact model, operating-system version and setup state before choosing an enrollment process. A shared Android brand name does not establish identical behavior.
Use your own phone models, payment process and staff responsibilities for the demonstration. Confirm configuration and support arrangements before rollout.
Check before customer handover
Agree who completes each step and what record confirms the outcome.
- check_circleRecord exact models and setup states, including whether the phone has already been used.
- check_circleAsk for the supported enrollment instructions and confirm the resulting customer/device match.
- check_circleTest authorized lock, unlock and final release on a demonstration handset.
- check_circleDocument delayed connectivity and customer support procedures.
Delayed connections and SIM changes
Changing a SIM, losing connectivity and completing a device action are different events. Ask how the configured system reports each state. Do not interpret a phone being unreachable as evidence that a customer intends to default.
Keep a pending action assigned until its outcome is confirmed. Ask the provider for the supported customer procedure when connectivity is limited; this page does not promise an offline command or unlock-code feature.
Enrollment and reset protection need separate evidence
Ask for documentation of enrollment, reset behavior, data access and final release on your supported models. A claim about one protection mechanism is not proof that management persists after every reset or firmware change.
